Azure SQL Database security updates

Azure SQL Database will introduce new security features in preview, including Row-Level Security, Dynamic Data Masking and Transparent Data Encryption. Together, these will help customers further support organisational and industry compliance policies.
· Row-Level Security will be a programmability security feature. When implemented on databases, it’ll enable fine-grained access to rows of data in a table, offering greater control over which user can access which data.
· Dynamic Data Masking will be a security service of Azure SQL Database that’ll enable Azure administrators to restrict access to sensitive data on productive databases.
· Transparent Data Encryption will perform real-time encryption and decryption of your database, associated backups and transaction log files.
