Wire Data 2.0 (preview) will be retired on 31 March 2022
Target retirement date: March 31, 2022
Because Azure Monitor Virtual Machine insights and Service Map both provide network connection data sets in Logs, utilize the Dependency agent, and have connections with Azure Sentinel, we will be retiring Wire Data 2.0 (preview) on 31 March 2022. Please transition to using Azure Monitor Virtual Machine insights or Service Map by that date.

Activity Log Alerts - Change in "Description" property in the alert payload now in development

Starting April 1, 2021, the fired alert property "Description“ will contain the alert rule description. A new property “Activity Log Event Description“ added to the Activity Log fired Alert payload that will replace the old property "Description“.

Analysis Services Tabular improves MDX query performance in the cloud
With a recent update of the Analysis Services Tabular engine in Azure Analysis Services (AAS) and in Power BI, Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) clients, such as Microsoft Excel, can now enjoy improved query performance. This MDX performance improvement alleviates some of the optimization burden for measures used in a PivotTable.
